uring this time of the year, beautiful leaves of many colors are plenty. Here's a craft that is inspired by all those great colors.
Painter's tape (optional)
What to do:
Draw a tree trunk with branches on a piece of card stock.
On a second piece of card stock, make a stencil for the tree's leafy top by drawing and cutting out a cloud shape.
Place a stencil on top of the tree's branches, taping it in place with tape, if desired.
Snip and tear a kitchen sponge into several one-inch wide pieces. Pour a few small puddles of tempera paint onto a plastic plate, and place a piece of sponge on each puddle. Use the sponge pieces to stamp fall foliage onto the branches.
Let the project dry, and enjoy! They might also make a great gift for someone you care about.
