During this time of the year, beautiful leaves of many colors are plenty. Here's a craft that is inspired by all those great colors.

You'll Need:
Card stock
Painter's tape (optional)
Kitchen sponge
Tempera paint
Plastic Plate

What to do:

Step 1: Draw a tree trunk with branches on a piece of card stock.

Step 2: On a second piece of card stock, make a stencil for the tree's leafy top by drawing and cutting out a cloud shape.

Step 3: Place a stencil on top of the tree's branches, taping it in place with tape, if desired.

Step 4: Snip and tear a kitchen sponge into several one-inch wide pieces. Pour a few small puddles of tempera paint onto a plastic plate, and place a piece of sponge on each puddle. Use the sponge pieces to stamp fall foliage onto the branches.

Step 5: Let the project dry, and enjoy! They might also make a great gift for someone you care about.
