This recipe is fun to make and very easy. However, because you are dealing with a hot oven, you must have an adult with you to assist.

What You’ll Need:

3 tbsp. Butter
2 eggs
½ cup flour
½ cup milk
1 tsp. sugar
A pinch of salt
Fresh lemon juice
A little powdered sugar

How to do it:
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Use a 9-inch pie plate or a similar-sized skillet that can safely go in an oven. Place the butter in the pie plate and melt it in the oven. You’ll have to check it a couple of times to make sure it melts without burning. In a bowl, beat the eggs and add the flour, milk, sugar, and salt. Mix well. Take the hot plate/pan out of the oven as soon as the butter is melted and pour in the batter. Set it back in the oven and bake 18-20 minutes. Take it out, and let it cool for five minutes, then sprinkle with lemon juice and powdered sugar, slice and serve. You will be very surprised with how neat it looks, how good it tastes, and how easy it is to make!

Hint: It can also be served with some sliced strawberries and bananas and whipped cream. Yum!
